I can't draw that well, nor can I paint and my knownledge of photoshop is about as vast as a water puddle after a particularly light July rain. I find art easier to handle when I have a pattern to follow.
Enter cross stitches.
To my surprise I found embrodery very meditative and refreshing for the mind. Not being very interested in the red cottages, teddy bears and landscapes with old English castles and some roosters in the corner which otherwise overwhelms the market I decided that the whole marked needed an update. To me, at least. There was no reason to think of cross stitches as old fashioned and unfashionable. How could you make it fun? After all, what would I like to put on the wall?
The answer was given.
My work are all in cross stitches, and consists of between 36,000-46,000 stitches each. They measure about 30*40 cm and take between 130-180 working hours to complete, depending on the amount of colors used.
